Server Rules
WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION WITH ANY OTHER PLAYERS!! IF YOU GET HACKED OR SCAMMED BY OTHER PLAYERS THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THE GM TEAM CAN HELP YOU. ALSO IF YOU SHARE YOUR INFO WITH SOMEONE AND THEY BREAK ONE OF THE RULES USING YOUR ACCOUNT, THE OWNER IS STILL RESPONSIBLE. "MY PILOT DID IT" IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE!!

Offense type A Rules:

• Character Names: Do not create characters with names that contain anything besides normal ENGLISH letters and numbers and [ ]. Any symbols that require hitting the ALT key to type or any letters that contain accents or are not part of the English language are not allowed. If your name contains any of these a GM will change your name and you may not like the new name you get.
• Speak English on ALL global chats: This is an international server, and we all need to be able to communicate with and understand each other. If you want to speak another language please use guild/party chats or whispers.
• Chat spamming: Do not continuously spam the same message over and over flooding the chat box. Try to wait at least 3 minutes in between buy/sell messages, and please do not go afk with the auto chat macro on.
• Kill stealing: Do not attack monsters that are already claimed by other players of your race. You are allowed to kill steal other races.
• Begging/annoying: Do not repeatedly ask other players for items/money, parties, guild, or buddy invite, or anything that somehow bothers other people. Ask once, and if they ignore you or say no, then just move on and don't continuously bother them.
• Chaos pot abuse: Do not use chaos potions to kill any players unless they either agree to it OR if the person you are attacking is breaking another rule(ie:begging/ksing)

Punishment for these Type A rules is to be determined by the Race Leader. If the Race leader is either unavailable or will not punish the abuser then report the issue to a GM. General punishment will be chat ban or 1-2 day ban determined by the GM.


Offense type B Rules:

• Force log out: Do not force your connection to disconnect or force your client to error while you are in battlemode to avoid death in either pvp or pve.
• Safe zone abuse: Do not stand in any safe zone and debuff/buff/heal/use animus while other players are PvPing. If you want to assist in the PvP,move out of the safe zone so that you can be attacked. (please do not report every little instance where a summon is attacking from safe zone, unless it is actually assisting in PvP)
• Spawn Camping: This rule applies to only 2 maps(Cartella Lab and Elven Land), and you are not allowed to camp either portal using towers, traps,death luring, or even your own character. The spot where people port in/respawn will basically be an unofficial safe zone where you are not allowed to pvp. The reason for this rule is that people do not even have time to buff or use any skill before they are attacked when they respawn, because the game forces you to wait 10+ secs to do anything after you respawn. Here are screenshots that show where the safe zones are:Elven Land and Cartela Biolab. In Elven Land if you want to be 100% safe in the safe zone stay near the portal, by going near the stairs you acknowledge that you area headed to a pvp area and in order to report someone for abusing this rule near the stairs a video(fraps) will be required. However if someone kills you near the portal, all you will need is a screenshot to report it(make sure you include the pk message as proof of the person that killed you).
• Bug Abuse: Do not exploit bugs or glitches that you may find ingame in order to gain some sort of an advantage. If you find something that does not look correct or looks out of place report it to a GM and they can tell you if it is a bug or not. Ignorance will not be an excuse.This includes but is not limited to:
  • traveling on parts of the map that were not designed to be a playing area
  • item or money duping
  • nuking inside the core(the parts of the map that are within the tunnel system) during CB delivery or hsk defense (this includes the few minutes before hsk actually spawns as well)
  • hiding towers inside of the chip,empty MAU keys, feet of hsk, or anything else (hiding towers in groups of other players is fine however)
  • and any other glitch/bug that gives you an unfair advantage.
• Harassment: Please respect all of the players and GMs of this server. Do not use racial/sexual slurs or any other offensive insults. If you want to call someone a noob or something similar that is not overly insulting that is fine as long as you do not go overboard or continuously spam it. Since we seem to be having problems with people and this rule the punishments for this offense will be as follows:
  • 1st offense- warning or 1 day ban depending on severity of the case
  • 2nd offense- You will be banned from the use of talk jades. This means your current TJ will be removed and if you are caught using a TJ ever again you will receive a 2 day ban.(If you continuously break the TJ ban then you will receive bans of 1 week+ instead of 2 days) The TJ ban is just an extra punishment, you will still get the normal 2 day ban as well.
    
  • If your harassment case is within 1 race and not with 2 different races, or if the offender does not own a talk jade the punishments will follow the normal punishments for Type B offenses.
• False Accusation: Do not publicly accuse a GM or other players of cheating/corruption unless you have solid proof. Even if you have proof please try to avoid publicly accusing people, just send a report to a GM on the forum. If you are not sure if someone is cheating or not, then just send a message to a GM on the forums or ingame and we will check into it.
• Race Chat Abuse:Race chat is meant to be used for important matters only.Having a talk jade does not give you the right to talk freely on race chat, same as being council.Use it wisely on important situations, such as CW, repelling, organizing PB runs and other things that require a race coordination. The miss use of Race chat will result in a Chat Ban with length that will vary depending on the GM's decision. Use /all chat if you need to talk to your whole race!
  

The general punishment for the above offenses will be as follows(though may differ depending on the specific situation):
1st Offense: warning or 1 day ban
2nd Offense: 2 day ban
3 or more Offenses: 1 week ban
Talk Jade Abuse: After your first warning, you may loose your talk jade depending on the severity of the incedent at the GMs discretion
The bug abuse punishments will be slightly more harsh(possible even permanent in some situations) and will be decided by the banning GM depending on the specific situation.

Offense type C Rules:

• Trading Accounts: This rule is a result of too many scammers and too many people trading accounts every other day. Trading accounts just causes more problems than anything else. So from now on if you want to get a new character(new race/class) you either need to make a new character, donate for race/class change, or wait for a possible event. Trading accounts includes both trading account(s) for account(s) or trading account(s) for item(s). You may still trade accounts/items for GP, but this requires a GM to oversee the trade and update the email address on the account.
• Scamming: Do not impersonate other players or GMs in order to get items/money from other players. Do not agree to an account or character trade and then back out after getting the other players information.
• Impersonating a GM: Do not claim to be a GM or admin, this includes using a name that is similar to that of a GM or using a [GM] or [Admin] tag in your name.
• Hacking: Do not use any 3rd party programs that allow you to modify your client in order to get unfair advantages. This includes but is not limited to: speed hack/fly hack/damage hack/level hack/server crashing.
• Real Life Money Trades:Do not sell or buy any items/characters or anything that involves money and in-game items.

Punishment for these Type C rules will generally be a permanent ban, but it will be up to the GM to make the final decision based on the specific situation.

Vote Shop Rules

VOTING FOR GP IS A PRIVILEGE AND CAN BE REMOVED OR LIMITED IF PEOPLE ABUSE IT!!!

• The vote sites will only record 1 vote per IP address, therefore you are only allowed 1 vote per IP address every 12 hours for each vote site.(5 votes total every 12 hours)
• Please make sure u actually follow through on the vote sites so that your vote is recorded. Do not just input your ID to get the GP and then click back.
• If you are unsure if you have the same IP as another computer, just check your IP HERE.
• Do not vote from computer shops/cafes, you may end up getting banned because of other players.

Failure to follow these rules will result in deletion of GP and possibly even account bans(Main account will be banned as well, not just the accounts used to vote). Ban length will be determined by the GM depending on the situation/severity, but the generally ban length will be 3 days to 1 week.

There is an ongoing Forum Post Event that can either earn you rewards, or punishments, so please read "The Void" and "Leaders" topics in the Novus Sector Section of the forums before posting anything!!!!

Until we actually finish the forum rules section here, just be respectful of other people and don't spamzor or a GM might ban your forum account.
